  1. Establishment of English Medium School from L.K.G to class X with State syllabus (S.S.C). The Curriculum is designed to include Computer Education, Music, dance, Type writing and other skills like sports and games. The education is entirely free, including boarding and lodging.
  2. Ramananda Centre for Advanced Learning and Research for the Visually Impaired & Vocational Training
    Here the adult blind are taught income generating skills which include leaf plate making, cycle repairing, candle making, weaving of towels & napkins, making detergents and phenyl. Computer training and type writing are also part of the programme.
  3. Physiotherapy Junior College
    Offers a residential diploma Course of 2 years duration which enables students to get a certificate in Physiotherapy. This course is approved by Board of Intermediate (Vocational), Andhra Pradesh and is the second such Institute in India.
  4. Bridge Course
    Reorientation courses of one-month duration were conducted for the benefit of those who are involved in teaching the visually challenged.
  5. Vikalang Bandhu Programme in Narsapur,Medak Dt.
    The volunteers from rural background are being trained here in multidisabilities (early intervention, detection, making people aware of the rights and facilities available for the disabled). These volunteers will act as nodal points for the disabled in their respective areas.
  6. C.B.R. Community based Rehabilitation
    Apart from institutionalized training, this institute engages in community based rehabilitation programs. Regular eye camps are held in rural areas. The School children are also screened for problems of the eyes. The Institute also educates and takes follow up action in early intervention and prevention of blindness.
  7. Andhula Bandhu Centre
    This Centre caters to the need of training rural artisan skills, and also promotes horticulture and agriculture to the visually impaired, hailing from rural areas.
  8. Parental counselling
    Many parents are not aware of the abilities and potentialities inherent in the visually challenged children. This leads to neglect and deprivation of normal rights and privileges of children. Hence parental counselling is done from time to time to ensure that the parents cope better with their responsibility of bringing up a visually challenged child and give him the necessary support and guidance.
  9. Genetic counselling
    Most of our students have problems with eye sight because of consanguinity, premature births, malnutrition, lack of timely medical attention and neglect. In order to redress this problem, genetic counselling is given to parents periodically by a leading ophthalmologist
  10. Networking
    Devnar Foundation works in friendly collaboration with Sweekar Upkaar, Thakur Hari Prasad Institute of Research & Rehabilitation of the Mentally Handicapped, Helen Keller Institute, N.I.M.H., N.I.V.H., A.Y.J.I.H., Home Science College, Agriculture College, College of Nursing, Teachers’ Training College and similar institutions providing an interface for observation, case studies and practical work.
  11. DEVNAR BRAILLE PRINTING PRESS
    6 printers are installed in our school for printing text books and other books to be supplied to the Visually Challenged people all over Andhra Pradesh.

    Foundation courses are conducted to those who teach and care for children with multi disabilities.
